The second edition of Africa Nigeria Fashion Week 2015 was held recently in Lagos, Nigeria.
Organized by the same team that takes care of Africa Fashion Week London, the event serves as a springboard for young designers not well known, in the hope of encouraging them to strengthen and further develop the international competitiveness of the fashion industry of Nigeria.
This is not of course the only platform organized for this purpose in Lagos. In fact, from here in a few months will be held the Lagos Fashion and Design Week and the Africa International Fashion Week.
What I appreciate more of participating in fashion weeks in cities like Lagos, Johannesburg, Accra, Cape Town, Durban, Kinshasa, Dakar, Maputo, Dar Es Salaam, Addis Ababa and so on. It is the opportunity to discover new talent in fashion and design, with their wealth of craftsmanship, skills and creative ideas whose combination results in an effective magazine images that express the current state of urban aesthetics of fashion and design in Africa.

Logically, the rich cultural heritage, the creative ingenuity and craftsmanship of the African continent feed an equally rich and varied offer in terms of aesthetics, fashion and colors.
Every show I attended (or which I had the pleasure to watch for long hours photos) struck me deeply, inebriating of enthusiasm and amazement for seeing something that went far beyond my expectations.
Africa fashion week in Nigeria in 2015 was no exception.
Here we present a special photo diary to document the event. I hope you enjoy it.
