Box TV has signed two new distribution deals with Continental Satellite and African Cable Television in Nigeria, and Siyaya Free To Air TV and Mobile TV in South Africa.
The new partnership will allow Box TV to build on its existing presence in Africa and the network hopes to attract hundreds of thousands of new viewers across the continent.
Box TV will provide access to Box Africa, Kiss, Kerrang!, Smash Hits and Magic, with potentially more channels to come next year.
Julie Wright, business development and commercial director at Box TV, said: “Box TV has now become a truly international brand, bringing music from the hottest artists in the world to fans across the globe. We pride ourselves on innovative and engaging programming and we’re delighted to be extending across new African territories. In doing so, we’re bringing people around the world closer together through their shared love of music.”
Box TV currently operates in 12 territories around the world in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
